Jaca-1 is the first well to be drilled of São Tomé & Príncipe. The well has spudded and is targeting seismic amplitude anomalies in Cretaceous targets in a 4-way dip-closed structure.
The drilling Maersk Voyager is drilling in 2500 metres water depth. The operator is GALP (45%) with partners Shell (45%) and the national oil company ANP (10%).
