Killer Gas - Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S)

Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) can be lethal at low concentrations. It is also a relatively commonly encountered in the oil and gas industry.

This video forms part of the "How Oilfields Work" Series but is also of concern from a Health & Safety perspective.

What is H2S and why is it such an important consideration for O&G companies? How does H2S occur in oil and gas reservoirs? Where does it come from? We try to answer these questions, looking at field examples with high H2S.

Much of the information in this video is in TROVE Outer Moray Firth. This product is a 'must have' for E&P companies working in this area.
