How Oilfields Work - Waterfloods & Production History

In this series of videos we will be covering some of the basics of the oil and gas industry. The second in the series is "Production History" - we use the Murchison field in the UK North Sea as an example, based on a PESGB presentation from 2000.


We describe a typical production profile and how production can be extended using infill drilling to target unswept reservoir sections in a mature field.
