OMFSIG Article

1st Subsurface features in an article recently published by GEO ExPro discussing the need for collaboration to maximise economic recovery through a special interest group in the Outer Moray Firth (OMF). This special interest group (SIG) is facilitated by 1st Subsurface with TROVE databases proving to be a key tool in helping MER.

Currently in phase 2, the OMFSIG has a diverse membership of E&P companies both with and without acreage in the basin. The TROVE databases used by the OMFSIG contain data on over 400 prospects and leads, all unsanctioned discoveries and a further 79 fields within the region. Along with geotechnical data including reservoir parameters and volumetrics, crucially there is also information on infrastructure.

If you would like to find out more about the results from Phase 1, membership to Special Interest Groups for the OMF (and other areas of the UKCS) or any of our TROVE Databases, contact us at info@1stsom.com
