CGX Energy recently announced the Kawa-1 discovery in the Corentyne block offshore Guyana. The well encountered 54 metres of hydrocarbon-bearing reservoirs within Maastrichtian, Campanian and Santonian horizons.
This is the latest in a long line of recent discoveries in the region.
